Cornbread Stuffing




Ingredients

  • 1 stick of Butter

  • 2 cups of Chicken or Turkey Broth

  • 1 14oz. pkg. Pepperidge Farm Herb Stuffing Mix

  • 1 14oz pkg. Pepperdige Farm Cornbread Stuffing Mix

  • 1 egg beaten

  • 2 stalks of celery chopped

  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage

  • 1 hard boiled egg chopped

Directions

Melt butter in a large saucepan or stock pot. And chopped onion and celery and saute until vegetables are softened. Add chicken or turkey broth. Reduce and simmer.

Add stuffing mix and toss to coat.

Add beaten egg and mix well. Add sage, pepper, and chopped egg. Mix well.

Cool. At this point stuffing be placed in a baking dish and refrigerated or used to fill the cavity of a turkey or chicken. If baking separately, remove from refrigerator about 30 minutes prior to baking. Bake at 350F uncovered for about 30-45 minutes.
